Custom cake pops

Pricing for cake pops with fondant or chocolate details starts at $48 per dozen and is dependent on the complexity of the design.Character cake pops start at $60 per dozen. Please discuss your design with me to obtain a quote. Custom cake pops include characters, animals or objects and cake pops with fondant or chocolate details such as bows, flowers, etc... A minimum order of 2 dozen cake pops is required. One choice of flavor per dozen.

Small to medium size buttercream cakes

We offer small to medium sized round buttercream cakes and up to two tiers. Your choice of cake and frosting flavors.  Sizing starts at 5 inches (smash cake) and  goes up to 12 inches in diameter with 3 layers of cake.  A 6 inch cake serves 6-10 and people and a 12 inch cake will serve around 50 people. Pricing starts at $50 for a smash cake,  $80 for a 6 inch, $115 for an 8 inch, $135 for a 10 inch and $195 for a 12 inch .  Please submit a request for a quote on pricing. Pricing varies and is dependent on the complexity of the design. 


Your choice of cake flavor with chocolate or vanilla coating. Starting at $60 a dozen. A minimum order of one dozen is required. 


Your cake pops can be individually wrapped in a clear treat bag for a charge of $5.00 per dozen.

Add cake pop boards for $5.00 per dozen. Cake pop boards add some elegance to the display of your cake pops and are individual gold boards for each cake pop to sit on. 

Add a cake filling for $8. Please note that this charge applies to some speciality flavors such as Berry Chantilly. 

Add a box with a built in cake pop stand for $6.  Each box holds 12 cake pops each.

Starting at $37 per dozen. A Minimum order of two dozen is required.  Cupcakes with fondant toppers start at $45 per dozen (2 dozen minimum).

  • Speciality cake pop flavors: Chocolate Chip cookie dough, Ferrero Rocher, Very Vanilla, Red velvet brownie, Cosmic brownie, Strawberry Crunch, Fruity Pebbles, Chocolate Overload, Cookies and Cream, S'mores, Cotton Candy, Cinnamon Vanilla Bean, Salted Caramel, Strawberry Shortcake, Lemon Sugar Cookie, Dark Chocolate Raspberry, Snickerdoodle,  and  French vanilla latte

Classic Cake Pops 

Pricing is $37 per dozen. Your choice of cake flavor with chocolate or vanilla coating and decorated with chocolate drizzle, sanding sugar or sprinkles. A minimum order of two dozen cake pops is required. 1 choice of flavor per dozen.

Our History

I am Shana Chan, owner of Palomar cake pops. Since a young age, I have always loved to bake and this continued to be a hobby for me once I became a stay at home mom. I began to expand my knowledge and skills by taking various baking classes and then became passionate about making it a business. I specialize in cake pops, cakes, cupcakes and other treats. I love every opportunity to create custom orders for customers and provide them with the freshest and most delicious ingredients. I look forward to working with you to create stunning desserts for your next event!  

Products are made in Cottage Food Operation. Palomar Cake Pops is CFO(Cottage Food Operation) licensed and certified. Registration # is DEH2020-FCFO-000869. Because Palomar Cake Pops is a Cottage Food Operation, there isn't a brick and mortar store for customers to visit. Delivery of your items will be arranged upon placing an order. Please also note that all items are made to order so I need a minimum of 5 days to create a small order and a minimum of 2 week for larger orders. Please read FAQ for further information on booking and availability.

What is the minimum order?

Two dozen is the minimum order for all dessert table items.

You may combine different menu items to meet the 2 dozen minimum requirement. Please note that one flavor per dozen is offered for most items. 

How much notice is required on an order?

A minimum of 1 week's notice is required on small orders (one dozen) and a minimum of 2 week's notice is required on larger orders (cakes and anything over 2 dozen). Palomar Cake Pops is a small bakery with limited availability and orders are accepted on a first come, first serve basis. To guarantee availability, it is recommended you book in advance. Please understand that a lot of time, love  and detail is given to every order. Therefore, with most orders, a few days turn around time is not possible. 

What is a cake pop? 

A cake pop is made with crumbled cake that is mixed with a small amount of frosting and rolled into a ball or various shapes. The cake pop is then placed on a lollipop stick and dipped into chocolate. A cake pop's texture is similar to a cookie dough or a truffle. Because cake pops are coated with chocolate, they can not be displayed in the sun or excessive heat or they will melt.

Are cake pops safe for people with food allergies?

Cake pops are not recommended for people with food allergies because they contain wheat (gluten), milk, eggs, soy and may also contain traces of nuts. 

How long do cake pops last?

Your cake pops are made with freshness in mind. From the date you receive them, they are good for up to 5 days. While shelf life varies, it is not recommended you consume them after this point unless they are refrigerated. Refrigeration will prolong the life of the cake pop for up to 7 days. 

Do you deliver?

Palomar Cake Pops offers delivery but fees apply as follows:

-Within 5 miles of zip code 92069=$15.

-Meeting halfway or delivery within 6-10 miles of zip code 92069= $25

-Delivery over 10 miles and up to 20= $35

-Delivery over 20 miles and up to 30= $55

***Delivery is not offered to areas over 30 miles away.****

When will my order be ready for pickup/delivery? 

Orders are typically ready the day of your event but can be available one day prior to your event when sufficient notice is provided. Weekend pickup and delivery is between 9 am and noon. Punctuality is greatly appreciated when picking up your order or meeting for a delivery.  




A non-refundable 50% deposit is required at the time of booking (please see below for additional information). Venmo, Zelle, Chase Quickpay, PayPal and cash are accepted forms of payment. I can not accept cash for payment of the deposit since I don't have a storefront.  If payment is being made via Venmo, PayPal or Zelle, the remaining balance is due 3 days before the time of pick up or delivery. Cash payment can be paid at the time of pickup or delivery.Your order may be cancelled if payment is not received 3 days in advance of your pickup/delivery date. Last minute orders (less than 5 days notice) need to be paid in full at the time of booking.


A deposit is made to ensure that the event, date and required supplies for orders is secured. The deposit also covers design research and time planning the order. This way, every order is guaranteed the proper amount of attention required, due to the hand-crafted nature of Palomar Cake Pops. Thank you for understanding!

While I'll do my best to accommodate any changes to your order, changes can not be made to the flavor(s) or design once an order has been started or the supplies have been purchased. Any changes to the numbers of items ordered must be requested at a minimum of 5 days prior to the due date of your order. I am aware that party/order dates may need to be changed due to the situation with Covid. While I will do my best to reschedule your order or offer a credit, it may not be possible if a date is unavailable or supplies have been purchased and an order has been started.
